چکیده

Abstract Background Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain and difficult to treat in chronic severe forms. Management plantar includes non-surgical options such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs corticosteroids, physical therapy, orthotics, surgical management fasciotomy. Local injection platelet-rich plasma well local steroids an emerging concept treating recalcitrant tendon ligament pathology, including fasciitis. Objectives The aim study was evaluate compare outcome patients treated with a single autologous leucocyte-rich single-injection triamcinolone Methodology conducted for duration 24 months. In total, 60 clinically diagnosed were selected divided two groups using allocation randomization method those steroid prospectively followed compared. Results Both evaluated subjectively functionally at primary visit then on follow-up 2 weeks, 4 8 12 weeks by VAS hind foot AOFAS score. Conclusion We concluded that both plasma-treated steroid-treated provide symptomatic relief treatment functionally. group showed early improvement results further suggestive provided better functional results.
